Janis – Hand-Painted Psychedelic Shabbat Candlesticks

Meet Janis.

Peace, love & Shabbat. ✌️

Janis is what happens when traditional Shabbat candlesticks take a little detour through Woodstock.

This vibrant pair of hand-painted wooden candlesticks is layered with swirls and splashes of jewel-toned color—blue, turquoise, pink, purple, yellow and green—with warm gold-tone candle cups finishing the look.

Bold, bohemian and completely one of a kind, Janis was made for Jewish homes that believe ritual can be meaningful and wildly colorful.

Each candlestick is individually painted by hand, creating an organic, almost tie-dyed effect. No two will ever be exactly alike—and that’s precisely the point.

SHABBAT, WITH BETTER VIBES

Janis brings color, personality and a little counterculture spirit to an ancient tradition. Light her on Friday night, leave her out as functional Jewish art during the week, or give her to someone whose Judaica could never be described as beige.

A fabulous gift for a Jewish wedding, housewarming, engagement, conversion, Bat Mitzvah, Shabbat hostess, new home or anyone building a Judaica collection that’s entirely their own.

Tradition doesn’t have to look traditional.

Candle Safety

These candlesticks contain combustible materials, including wood. Always place on a stable, heat-resistant surface when burning candles. Never leave burning candles unattended. Keep away from children, pets and flammable materials. Do not place in an oven or submerge in water.
