Bubblegum Mezuzah — Handmade by Miriam, Age 11

Hi! I’m Miriam, and this mezuzah is called Bubblegum because it is pink and sweet-looking and it kind of reminds me of bubblegum.

I made it with wood, Washi tape, acrylic paint, and a metal shin, and then it was sealed to help protect everything. I really like all the different shades of pink and how they look together. It’s bright and happy without being too fancy.

It fits a scroll up to 4 inches long. The scroll is not included, so you can add your own kosher or non-kosher scroll.

This one is part of the Junior Artists of Eclectic Judaica collection, so it is handmade by me and may not be completely perfect — because I’m 11 and I made it myself. I think that makes it better.
